I provide IT consulting services focused on one-off projects and strategic technology planning. I do not provide break/fix support or computer repair services.

What geographic areas do you serve?

I provide remote consulting services to clients throughout the United States. For projects requiring on-site work, I serve the greater Houston, Texas area. Many engagements can be handled entirely remotely through video calls, screen sharing, and secure remote access.

Do you offer managed services?

No, I focus exclusively on consulting and project-based work rather than ongoing management. If you need managed services, monthly support contracts, or 24/7 monitoring, I can refer you to Aspendora Technologies who specializes in those offerings.

Do you offer break/fix or do you work on computers?

No, I focus exclusively on consulting and project-based work. If you need computer repair services, I generally recommend replacing the system rather than repairing it. Most businesses depend heavily on their computer systems and cannot afford extended downtime while waiting for repairs.

Do you offer residential services?

No, my services are focused on small to medium-sized businesses. However, if you operate a business from your home, that qualifies as a business engagement and I would be happy to assist you with your technology needs.

Do you do cabling?

I do not perform cabling work myself, but I can refer you to trusted cabling contractors. Together, we can plan and build out your complete cabling infrastructure, including the installation and configuration of wireless access points.

Do you sign NDAs or confidentiality agreements?

Yes, I am happy to sign non-disclosure agreements and confidentiality agreements when required. I understand that many projects involve sensitive business information, and I take client confidentiality seriously. Please provide any required agreements during our initial engagement process.

How long does a typical project take?

Project timelines vary significantly depending on the scope and complexity of the work involved. A simple configuration or assessment might take just a few hours, while a full infrastructure migration could span several weeks or months. After I review your initial request, I will send you information about what to have ready for our first consultation. This typically includes details about your current environment, specific challenges you are facing, and your goals for the project.

What is your hourly rate?

My standard hourly rate is $200/hour. This rate applies to all consulting and project work performed during regular business hours. Rates may be adjusted for specific project scopes, long-term engagements, or work performed outside of standard business hours.

What types of projects do you typically work on?

Common projects include Microsoft 365 tenant migrations and optimization, network redesigns and infrastructure upgrades, phone system implementations, IT infrastructure assessments, and technology strategy consulting. Each engagement is customized to address the specific needs and objectives of the client.

How do I get started?

Can I provide documentation or screenshots ahead of our scheduled session?

Once you receive a scheduling confirmation, you are welcome to share relevant documentation, screenshots, or other materials that may be helpful for our session. Please note that pre-session document review is performed at my discretion and may be considered billable time. For security purposes, never include passwords, credentials, or other sensitive information in emails or contact forms. I will collect such information during our meeting or arrange a secure transfer method.

What are your billing terms and warranty policy?

All work is billed strictly on an hourly basis with no warranty provided. Every hour spent on your project is billable regardless of the outcome. While I may occasionally offer a best-effort estimate if requested, these estimates are provided without any guarantee as to actual duration or completion time. I strongly encourage you to communicate any budget constraints or maximum hour caps upfront to ensure we remain aligned with your financial parameters.

Can I pre-purchase hours for my project?

Yes, hours may be pre-purchased upon request or when a specific project requires it. To pre-purchase hours, an account must be established with your billing information. Once your account is set up, I will generate and send an invoice for the agreed-upon hour block. Upon receipt of payment, those hours will be credited to your account and available for use during our scheduled engagement times. Please note that all pre-purchased hours expire one year from the date of purchase.

What are your business hours and availability?

My standard business hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Central Time, excluding holidays. Work scheduled during these hours is billed at the standard rate of $200/hour. If your project requires work outside of these standard hours, it can be accommodated at a premium rate. Please discuss after-hours scheduling needs during our initial consultation.
