I’m an independent IT advisor based in Houston. I founded Aspendora Technologies in 2010, and for 15 years I’ve been the outside technology brain for hundreds of small and mid-sized businesses — effectively the CIO for companies that couldn’t hire one.
Along the way I kept seeing the same problem: owners making expensive, hard-to-reverse technology decisions on advice from the people who profited from the outcome. So I built a consulting practice with one rule — I make money one way: you pay me for advice and for the work. No products to resell, no vendor commissions.
I’m deliberately not a managed-IT provider, not a break/fix shop, and not a computer-repair service. My lane is the decision layer — the roadmap, the budget, the big calls — plus the hands-on projects I do best: Microsoft 365, network design, phone systems (FreePBX and Asterisk), open-source systems, and cloud.
